Acceptance Of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Koach, including our website, applications, APIs, and related services. By using Koach, you agree to these Terms and to the Koach Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the service.

About Koach

Koach is an AI-powered exam preparation platform designed to help learners practice and review for UPSC and other competitive examinations. Features may include AI-generated MCQs, evaluations, PYQ practice, mentor chat, current affairs quizzes, mains answer review, challenge mode, uploaded book chat, analytics, goals, notes, bookmarks, and syllabus tracking.

Eligibility And Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
• You must not impersonate another person or create accounts using false or unauthorized information.
• If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us promptly at [email protected].

Permitted Use

Koach is provided for lawful educational, revision, and exam-preparation use. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service.

Prohibited Conduct

• Copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the platform or its content except as expressly allowed by us.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security or rate limits.
• Upload malicious code, illegal content, infringing material, or content that violates another person's rights.
• Use the service to generate cheating, spam, harassment, abuse, misinformation, or unlawful activity.
• Interfere with other users, impersonate others, or manipulate competitive modes such as challenges.

AI Features And Educational Disclaimer

Koach includes AI-generated outputs such as questions, explanations, evaluations, mentor responses, summaries, and recommendations. These outputs are provided for educational support only and may contain errors, omissions, bias, or outdated information.

You are responsible for independently evaluating AI-generated content before relying on it for academic, exam, legal, professional, or strategic decisions. Koach does not guarantee exam outcomes, rank improvements, or factual perfection.

User Content

You may submit content to Koach, including text prompts, answers, notes, messages, images, and uploaded PDF books. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate the service.

By submitting content, you grant Koach a limited license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.

• You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit the content.
• You must not upload content that is unlawful, confidential without authorization, or infringing.
• We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or creates legal, safety, or operational risk.

Books, Files, And Uploaded Material

If you upload books, notes, images, or other materials for quiz generation or retrieval-assisted chat, you are responsible for ensuring you are legally permitted to upload and process that material.

We may process uploaded files through storage, indexing, vectorization, parsing, or AI-based analysis in order to provide platform functionality.

Challenge Mode And Shared Activity

Some Koach features, such as 1v1 challenge mode, involve limited sharing of gameplay or match information with other participants. If you join a challenge, your learner name, progress, readiness state, and results may be visible to the other player in that match.

You agree not to exploit challenge mode unfairly, automate participation, or use external methods to manipulate results.

Pricing, Plans, And Payments

Koach offers a free plan (Prayas) alongside paid subscription plans (Sankalp and Shikhar) billed monthly or annually. Paid plans unlock additional features, limits, or content as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase.

Payments made on the web are processed by Razorpay. Payments made through the Koach Android app are processed as subscriptions through Google Play Billing. We do not store your card, UPI, or other payment instrument details — these are handled directly by our payment processors.

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• For web (Razorpay) subscriptions, you can cancel anytime by contacting [email protected]; self-service cancellation in-app will be available in a future update.
• For Google Play subscriptions purchased through the Android app, you can cancel or manage your subscription directly through Google Play's subscription settings on your device.
• Cancelling stops future billing but does not end your current billing period early — you retain access to paid features until that period ends.
• If we change pricing for a plan you are subscribed to, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect on your next renewal. Continuing your subscription after that notice means you accept the new price.
• We may change packaging, free-tier limits, or feature access across plans at any time; changes will not retroactively remove access you have already paid for during your current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds for paid plans are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which sets out eligibility, timelines, and how to request a refund.

Intellectual Property

Koach, including its branding, software, interface design, prompts, original text, graphics, workflows, and service features, is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. Except for the limited use rights granted under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

Availability And Changes

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, including features, limits, models, APIs, pricing, or content availability.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or continuous access to any feature or stored content.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Koach if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, or used the service in a harmful or abusive way. You may stop using the service at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions related to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute-related clauses, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

Koach is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koach and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or exam-related outcomes arising from or related to your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability will be limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes To These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a different effective date is stated. Your continued use of Koach after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
